I have been a hiking maniac lately and since a Certain Very Nice Man was visiting me this weekend we decided to go on a at Sycamore Canyon hike just before sunset.
On the trail! Hoping to make it to the top of the hill before the sun goes down too far.
We made it! This was the view from the top of the ridge. It was gorgeous!
I want to wish my Mom a Happy 90th Birthday!
(Her birthday was yesterday.)

A Certain Very Nice Man has excellent taste in choosing dating activities. The hike looks a fun one...well, except maybe for the steep part. But the sunset was spectacular. Love the picture of you and your mom...and Hilary's comment about the apple and the tree.
