Happy Fridays to you all!
If the rains don't come, I am hoping to get out on a hike with a Certain Very Nice Man this weekend.
Recently we joined some friends on a hike to Lizard Rock in the nearby Santa Monica mountains.
Here I am with my friend Kitty, about halfway to the rock.
Why look! There I am with a Certain Very Nice Man atop the rock!
(He loves to hike AND he walks at the same incredibly fast speed I do! Bonus!)
Do you think the rock looks like a Lizard's Head?
From this angle it looks more like a manatee.
We made it back to the parking lot as the sun was setting.
Time for dinner out!
Another great day with good friends!
Hope your Fridays are good ones!

Not a hiker, but still enjoyed your pictures because you were having fun. Enjoy your week-end, I have a four day one thanks to fall break. But no hiking for me, instead I'll be decorating a bathroom that I never use in my house: the one the sons use :op
Oh wow!! What a place to hike!! How wonderful and there is your Nice Man too!!
The rock face looks like a very smiley happy beast!! LOL! Take care

Looks like fun! Although no, it doesn't look like a lizard.
Love the creative photos. You are certainly in a better place these days.
What a great place to hike.
You are such a tease with your photos of CVNM.
Beautiful! Looks like a fun hike!
I couldn't even do the hike, but being on the edge of that rock... I DON'T THINK SO! You're a brave girl.
Looks like fun!! I do not think it looks like lizard's head, but I do see the manatee.
Looks like Godzilla's profile!
Happy hiking Betty.
That picture of shadows is very cool. Looks like a great place to hike. Glad you are having fun!!
Hiking is in my retirement plans if I can get my husband to join in. Maybe the rock looked like a lizard before erosion got it.
I love the picture of your shadows!
Have a good weekend, Betty :)
You are such a tease with that photo of you and the certain very nice man. LOL My favorite is the shadow picture! So glad you're out enjoying fall!
I love to hike and we go whenever we can. I haven't heard of those trails before. I'm assuming they are in your neck of the woods. Gotta go look them up...
