Monday Morning Flowers and House Update

Hi Everyone!

Sorry I have been so scarce around Blogland.

Home renovation is still going on, but this past week there was a lot of progress!

Loved this scene!  Six trucks all there at once!!

The kitchen cabinets went in.

So did the bathroom vanities.

The shower enclosures were completed.

(Still no door on the bathroom.

This makes life interesting!)

The dining room is still a mess.

The granite counter tops are installed now!

Let's all just sit here and stare at this field of flowers and forget about making decisions.

  Shall we?

Happy Monday to you all!

When one door of happiness closes, another opens, but often we look so long
at the closed door that we do not see the one that has been opened for us.

It's getting there, slowly but surely. someday this will all be a distant memory.

Retractable shower curtain rod and curtain for the bathroom door. Works wonders in a pinch. Love the tile.

we bought our condo in 2003. it hadn't been updated since it was built in 1981. I loved that I could transform it into exactly what I wanted but trying to decide what I want was STRESSFUL!!!! What if you make a mistake? what if it lowers the resale value? I still have not done the bathrooms. It's a big project. Can't believe you got six trucks to arrive all at the same time! bravo ~

Things are really shaping up - your decisions are paying off. It really is a lovely concept - new house but in the same wonderful place. You must be relieved that the end is in sight.

My goodness, you have the patience of a saint. My daughter has gone through something similar for the last three months and with three little ones. She still has all her hair!!

Wow, 6 trucks all at once. That is a beautiful sight. Looks like they got a lot accomplished too.

It's looking good.. not as good as it's going to look. Change is often like that.

BB, I'm so excited to see the progress on the house. Best decision you could make. If you were in front of me, I'd give you a big ol' hug of joy!!
Thanks for the MM flowers! Appropriate choice for me since my newly planted one just up and died on me!!!

I might be most impressed by the line of six trucks. It is a minor miracle to get all the contractors and workers at the work place at one time. Anyway, that has always been my experience. You are making great progress.

Is it done yet?
