Monday Morning Flowers

Happy Monday to you all!

Here's hoping you have a great week ahead!

My legs are still recovering from the Secret Stair Hike, but it was so much fun!

We passed by some great architecture.

We also passed one of these. Can you guess what it is?

You can't connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something - your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life.

Isn't that one of those warning sirens from WWI or WWII?

Good morning BB,
Beautiful flowers!!
You are quite talented to be able to climb stairs and take such interesting pictures!!
I'll take a stab at the mystery picture. I think it is where the drum major stands during band practice?!!

Oh, is that the official Bossy Betty Chocolate Craving Warning Siren!? Attention shoppers, please clear the candy and baking aisles...

I can almost smell those lovely roses...and now I need to wipe the nose prints off my screen.

Very pretty flowers. I have no clue what the crow's nest thingy is for.

The flowers are really pretty and since it is snowing here, they are even more precious.

That's the tornado siren!

Thanks for the flowers! Gorgeous as always. I'm guessing a siren...which brings back Kansas memories and the 'siren test' that occurred every Wednesday at noon. Had to make sure we were prepared for tornadoes!

Happy Monday! ☺

The flowers are beautiful, but the quote from Steve Jobs made me sad. It seems he didn't know the One Person he could truly trust.

Steve was a great visionary and I agree with that quote fully.;)
Lovely flowers - but simply can not make anything of that last image, never seen anything like that.;))

That thing looks like what used to be a warning for a nuclear attack back in the day. I think we use ours for tsunamis now.

Your pink rose is so tender and pretty.

Hugs to you today! It's been awhile since I've popped in to say hello, but I've been thinking about you lately. So HUGS to you today!

Very pretty, thanks!

Pretty flowers. I had no idea what that was until I read the comments. I'm sure it must be some kind of warning signal tower.

Nice pics Betty! It's a warning siren of some kind.

Despite what everyone else is saying about the function of that contraption, you and I both know it is a pie storage system. In an emergency it can also be used to store your cookies and mini-loaves.

The flowers were beautiful, as usual. It's so nice to see them every week as things go dormant here in Canada Eh. Thank you :)

NO idea. What is it?

pretty flowers but I have no idea what that thing is.

Thanks for the flowers, Betty! You do realize that you are the only one to give me flowers on a regular basis, don't you?!

No idea what that thing is!

But please tell me that your Rudolph header is someone else's roof and not yours! (I don't want to picture you climbing up on the roof to decorate)

I'm running late, so mine will have to be evening flowers. Thank you, they are lovely.

I, too, say warning siren.

As I look at the snow on the ground outside my window, I covet these pictures. As for the "whatsit"--no idea. Wall-E's older brother?

Beautiful flowers, Betty. I'm going to guess a prison siren.
