We have a cat similar to our cat, she is Miss Cody, she likes to eat but we have had to put her food away and only give a few kibbles a day..the others 3 are light eaters until they know momma has the treats in a bag or shaker I let it rip and from everywhere in our tiny home they come running including Miss Cody she gets a few..We already ate our turkey feast, served, baked, roasted turkeys, hams, pork loins, pies I made this summer for the feast from wild blackberries at a food pantry that serves people who work in excess of 50=60 hours a week and still have only food for their tiny babies, children..oh, my the need is so great..They take home food in backpacks loaded up for their friday, sat, & sunday..So we are tired, going to a movie and pie at a relative's home (she works in a hospital worked today) very late, sleeping friday, we will work saturday and sunday too..Not everyone in USA gets today off nor do they have food to boot, it is raining, cold and windy about 300 days of the year in the pacific northwest, with unemployment over 16% in this county many are hungry so we help a lot..just be thankful you have so very much Bossy Betty, luv your blog, God will heal your heart from your divorce.Remember when a door closes a window opens up it really really does..ciao blessings to you! & peace, Love and JoyXXXX()()()()()()!
Betty, hope you had a good Thanksgiving with your Son. Just take one day at a time. Christmas is just one day. You will be able to do it. We just know you will.
Hi BB, I'm catching up on you this week. I have been thinking about you this week. Bless your heart. I hope you and Evan had a wonderful Thanksgiving with your friend.
Madi can identify with Mabel...we've dubbed Madi a 'meat seeking missle'. She breaks the sound barrier on her way to the fridge when she hears it open. Hugs Madi and Mom
That picture is just priceless! But you couldn't have chosen a better one...it's how we all feel after the big meal, isn't it? Wouldn't you think we'd learn??? xxoo
I know exactly how she feels. We are camped up in the mountains for two weeks and went back to town for Thanksgiving and went back up the next day. We left with plenty of leftovers and once we got back up here, somebody gave us a HUGE container of stuffing and gravy. I don't just look like Mable, I am Mable...
In my old age, I plan to become the crazy cat lady in the neighborhood--the woman both pitied and viewed with a strange sense of fascination by all. That life of fame will have to wait though. These days I am a hard-workin' teacher and mama to two boys.
