Monday Morning Flowers

Oh My People.

Thank you so much for your responses to my last blog entry.

Trying to remember to breathe here.

Still putting one foot in front of the other.

I am stumbling along the way though.

Luckily, I have people to catch me if I fall.

My friend, Julie, gave me these beautiful roses which I share with you today.

After all that has happened, my self-esteem is pretty bruised and beaten. However, some friends suggested I go to church with them and there in the bulletin I read the words to a song that gave me strength:

How could anyone ever tell you,
you were anything less than beautiful?
How could anyone ever tell you, you were less than whole?
How could anyone fail to notice that your loving is a miracle?
How deeply you're connected to my soul.
--The Bridge of Love

Hope you all have good Mondays.

Thanks again for all the notes of encouragement and support.

I am grateful for them (and for you) all.

Those words, that song...simply amazing.
I am always in awe of how the right words come at us at the time in our lives we need them most. The only hope is that our ears are open and our brains are on receive mode to really hear them.
Because, BB, it's all true.
And we are here to remind you of that!

I have thought of you many, many times since your last post. And here you are walking on (one foot in front of the other), accepting the help of your friends, turning to the One who loves you best, and seeking out inspiration and strength wherever you can find it. Sounds like you are one strong lady, even if you don't feel like you are. You Are going to get through this. I admire your strength and the way you are trying to cope with all this.

PS...I love it when God speaks directly to my heart ♥ just as He did to yours.

It's good to hear from you again. Julie must have known that nobody would appreciate flowers more than Betty! I'm glad you have friends nearby to see you through to the next phase of your life. Which will, of course, always include lots and lots of flowers!

I hope you find one bright moment in each day this week.

Betty, the Universe had a message for you and your friend was its agent to get it to you.
I'm glad you accepted the invitation and heard the words you needed.
Good flowers, but I swear as good as the photo is there's a sadness to the pics.

Hang in there. Just take it one day at a time. And allow yourself to grieve. The pain is real. Don't stuff it, let it come. It will hurt for a while, but in time, the sting will lessen. So sorry for this loss. {{hugs}}

Betty I am heartbroken for you and helpless but am sending you all my sincerest thoughts and heartfelt good wishes.
A beautiful and poignant post.
You will get through the hard times and good times will follow but while you are making the journey, remember you have friends who care even if they are many miles away.
I have sent you a little email, which I sent before I read your last two posts and hope it will bring some cheer.

I am so sorry I didn't see yesterday's post and I am also so sorry you are going through this. All we can say is that the kitties are sending tons of putts your way and the donks are crossing their hooves for ya. And Mom is sending some very large hugs.
A little advice too, keep that blog going. When my life fell apart (long story), I took up blogging and Wow, it is such a God send you might say. Take care and keep writing. By the way, the flowers are so pretty.

My mom used to sing that song to me, and it (and she) did a lot to get me through a rough patch a long time ago. How lovely that it found its way to you, now. There will be lots of perfect words, and wonderful friends, and beautiful flowers in your future - I know it!

Bless your church-going friends who invited you to join them. Nothing can do more for one's sense of being loved than to realize that our Creator God loved us so much that He was willing to suffer and die so that we could live forever with Him.

Hang out to the beauty of the roses and the EVER PRESENTS OF GOD'S LOVE AND CARING FOR US. Look how HE gave you the words in the Church Paper. It showes how special you are to Him and us.

Make it a good week and even better weekend. LOVE TO YOU AND THE BOYS.

What gorgeous flowers, what beautiful words you have offered us, Betty, out of your brokenness!

Going to church was so the right thing to do: you need to re-connect with the One who loves you most and best, the One who will never ever leave you or forsake you.

Hugs to you, my friend, and prayers for you to receive the comfort that you have offered to so many.

You ARE worthy of love, and perfectly loved. I pray that you will feel that love.
