Monday Morning Flowers

Thanks so much to all of you who dropped by yesterday and left encouraging comments.

I really do appreciate it.

Here's a little Rose Love for you all:

The travelers let us know they had made it to Winslow, Arizona where they stopped for the night. Since they are both vegans, they had doubts about finding enough food along the way, so here are the snacks (not including sandwich fillings) they took to eat on the way.

As you can tell, they certainly won't starve.

Thanks again for all your support. I love this little blogging world....

They stopped in Winslow AZ?

Small wonder, considering al their snacks.

It was obvious they'd be runnin' down the road, tryin' to loosen their load....

heh heh

A little Eagles' humor, in return for my Monday morning flower. Thanks, Betty!

Guess you know which song Winslow, AZ stirred in my head....I'll be singing that one all morning! LOL

Glad they made it safely through the first leg of their journey.

Virginia is only one state away from us. If you need me, I'll be up there before you know it!

Gorgeous roses! Thanks!

That Eagles song popped right into my head as soon as I saw Winslow, AZ. ☺ Glad to know your kiddies won't starve on their excursion. How in the world did a meat-and-potatoes Kansas girl wind up with a vegan son? LOL

Happy Monday! ☺

eww nutter butters! Where's the fig newtons? How can you be sure they aren't malnourished without fruit and cake!?!

Goodness, the comments are terrific. Making me laugh for sure. Glad they made it to their first stop. I really don't think they will be hungry. Too cute. Can't wait for the next update. Take care.

Beautiful pictures. Especially the one of the snacks. I didn't realize there were that many snacking choices for vegans.

Flowers AND a smorgasbord of snacks?!?! You know the way to a blogger's heart, BB! ;-)

Ha! I like their style. They travel like I do. I used to travel with my cousins a lot, and they told me once that they had to buy a bigger van so I could pack a lunch. :)

Confession time: this meat eater looked at the snacks and thought she saw a ham and lunchmeat. I tried to enlarge the photo but this notebook won't let me. Oh well, with all that stuff, even this meat eater won't go hunger.

Love the flowers! Hope the weekend went alright, Betty. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Isn't technology a wonderful thing? Can you imagine way back 'in the day' when the kids took off to start a new life in a new country and you had to sit around and wait for a letter to arrive on a boat months/years later?? The minute my son got his license he got a cell phone. It helps ease a mother's worry a tiny bit at least.

Looks like they will be well feed during their travels. ;)

Happy Monday Betty!

Okay, thanks for planting that song in my head! Now I'll be humming, whistling and singing it all day. I'm not thinking they will have any trouble with starvation!
Thanks for the flowers!

WOW BB that was a table full of foods....they almost needed a U-Haul for the food. I hope they packed it in an easy to find location

Yay for vegan eating! Although as you said it can be dicey finding vittles if you're on the road.

Have mercy! No wonder that vehicle was packed so high. Nothing like being prepared. I'll bet you had a hand in that!

They might have to stop and reload, that may not be enough snacks!

If it weren't for the blogging world I'd go a little nuts I think. It keeps me sane. So glad they made it to their first stop safely. It's a fun journey when you're young!

Lovely rose today Betty. Glad to hear you got an update on your sons travels. Looks like they are well supplied for food.

Yup, they certainly seem prepared for cross country trip. I notice they won't be swinging by this way on their way to Virginia - but just know this, I'm not too far from the Virginia border if they need someone to stand in for you; until you arrive, of course.

Such a beautiful rose....from such a beautiful blogger. Hugs.

Indeed you should be proud of Sunny Boy, because you raised him right. And because of it, he will not let the distance come between him and his parents--ever.

Lovely rose photograph, Betty. I hope you are feeling a little better today. :)

Okay, I had to catch up a bit, but glad I did.

I do NOT look forward to those goodbye days. It's going to kill me.

The amount of food they have, they are probably good for a couple years.

Sorry I missed yesterday. Sending you hidden strength. :)

Hey, I'm going on a road trip and need some snacks, want to back for me? :D
