Monday Morning Flowers and Blog Break

Good Mondays, My People.

Hope you are having a wonderful start to the week.

Lots going on here.

It's a confusing time and I need to take a short break to gather my thoughts and strength.

I'll see you in a week (or less) and I'll try to visit your blogs when I can.

Almost all the ideas we have about being a man or being a woman are so burdened with pain, anxiety, fear and self-doubt. For many of us, the confusion around this question is excruciating.

Well, I certainly understand blog breaks, so put your own to good use. And thanks for inquiring after me.

To answer a question from an earlier post, the theme of my summer was "countdown." With two students and one teacher in the house, summer vacation for them is anything but for me. It builds and builds, with everyone wanting to do more and more and more until finally... ahhhh.

School starts and all hese people clear out of the house in the morning.

I suppose I will miss this at some point, but for now? Here's to next week and morning solitude.

You definitely deserve a breather!

My recommendation? Deep breaths, excessive time spent on the couch wearing stretchy yoga pants, and excessive amounts of chocolate chip cookies, downed with icy cold Diet Pepsi.

With all that's happening it must be hard to be at home and work and worrying about a loved one away. May it all work out well for you. HUGS!!

Lovely flowers - thank you for these beauties.

You have had many stressors on your shoulders in the past short while.

So, treat yourself well.
Don't forget to breathe.
Scritch a kitteh or two.

(I believe that this is the biggest downside of the bloggy world - when we wish to help, we are limited to ... words.)

We'll be here when you decide it's time to let BB loose on the world again :)

Betty- I hope you find some answers to those confusing questions while on break. It's a time of reflection for many of us... is it the season?
Your flowers look like summer will last forever. :)

Bossy Betts, I hope all is OK. Even though we've never met in person, I feel like you're the really annoying and bossy aunt that I never had. Or maybe just slightly older sister, not sure. Seriously, I hope it all works out, don't rush back, take some time, life is too short to feel pressured with a hobby like blogging. You have a lot of people in your corner, you'll get past this.

So, I woke up today witoutou on my brain. Maybe we have some sort of universe pull that connects us. Maybe I just went shopping at ikea and saw the rows of shopping carts and thought of your photos. Maybe it's just that I understand you are taking a break, but really just wanted you to know I was thinking of you. Whatever it is . . . My heart is heavy with thoughts of dear Betty today, and I just wanted to let you know I was thinking of you. Hugs, my friend.

Leanne said...

That was supposed to say "I woke up today with you on my brain." See . . . In your absence I've lost all ability to spell. Peace to you, dear.
