Final Day of Colorado Pictures!

Here's the happy couple again.

The wedding was just wonderful.

HOB and I got to stick around after the wedding and enjoy the scenery.

The best scenery was the sight of family I don't get to see too often.

Here's Turner by the lake!

See HOB sitting on that rock? A few minutes later, one of my nephews noticed the crows had gotten really loud. I turned and saw HOB beneath the trees, "talking" to them. "Oh, that's just your uncle," I said. "He does that a lot."

Ted and Amanda (my niece and her husband)

Announcement!
Many of you were fascinated by Pretty yesterday! Apparently, one of my nieces found her in the pantry and was quite startled (probably by her beauty).

My niece, Trisha, is the original owner of the doll and published a post about Pretty yesterday. You can get the whole backstory of Pretty and see her in her original condition at Trisha's Blog, Reflections from the Shadowlands.

Pretty Fever is High!

Catch it!

Turner is a handsome little guy. You and HOB are a handsome couple. I'm so glad HOB found some crows to "talk" to there in the Colorado wilderness. I'm sure it made the magnificent scenery much more meaningful for him.

Are you sure the crows just didn't follow him?LOL

"Pretty Fever"? HAAAHA! You make me laugh, Betty!

Again, love the pictures. And HOB talking to the crows - so funny, too! What a man!

So pretty there. I love the picture of you and HOB. What a view!

Pretty was discovered in the pantry--haha! I bet you wish you could have been there to see your niece's reaction! :)

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog yesterday. Chaos arrived not long after I woke up and things rolled downhill from there ... so I'm just now getting around to visiting everyone.

I love your blog! I'm a new follower :)

And, it seems, I'm a first-class voyeur, too. I looked through all your Colorado photos. I really LOVE Pretty and all the Pretty pranks - LOL.

I think the crows followed you there and were asking HOBB's where's the dog food....

Wow, the scenery is gorgeous! Those are definitely the kind of views you don't see in Northern Virginia!

Wow, that scenery is just gorgeous. Love seeing all the family and those gorgeous mountains. WE are going over to see more about Pretty. That is such a great thing to do, to pass the doll around. Hope you have a fine day.

It appears to be MUCH cooler where you were, than it has been here. I long for some coolness.

Thanks for sharing the highlights of your trip with us. As I look at the photo of HOB sitting on a rock, I am nearly certain you are at Turquoise Lake in the Leadville area. I think I see Mt. Massive in the background. This area is part of my old stomping grounds.

What a beautiful family you have! And such a fantastic vacay---a wedding, seeing family, cute wee ones! You can't go wrong with all that! And then, the icing on the cake---HOB and the crows. LOL

Awesome pics yet again. Your HOB talks to birds. Bruce mimics their sounds and chirps with them. He's actually pretty good but some days it just irritates the crap out of me and I have to say "stop please". haha.

I'll tell ya, that is some gorgeous country out there! I'm so glad you enjoyed your trip for all it was worth, even the "Pretty" parts.

I enjoyed all your photos...that wedding picture is beautiful as is the one of you and HOB. Turner-by-the-lake (sounds like a movie of the week) is adorable, the scenery is great, and I just LOVE the stories of your HOB and the crows! Now I'm off to read about Pretty!
