Colorado Vacay Pictures!

Hi everybody!

We'll be flying home to California from Colorado today.

We've had a great time.

My brain will be in post-vacay mode for a few days, so be prepared for more pictures and very little thinkin'!

Yay!

We saw some beautiful scenery.

HOB was Van Master!

He drove us all over and kept the ruckus in the van to a minimum, most of the time.

(Well, he tried.)

There were some who accused the occupants of the third row in the van of making trouble. I don't think so. Here I am with my sister, Eileen and my sister, Marlene. Things got a little rough during the license plate game, but other than that, we behaved ourselves very well.

One of our outings included the Celestial Seasonings tea factory. I could not take pictures in the factory, but here are Evan and his aunt enjoying some pre-tour tea.

Saturday was the big day!

Julia and David had a beautiful wedding and we met up with even more family members.

More pictures coming soon!

I can't wait to catch up on your blogs!

While I do love seeing your vacation pictures and I'm really glad that you had a great time I feel I must remind you that it's Monday. You know Monday, where you bring us pretty flowers?
Oh heck I'll cut you some slack since you are on vacation.

Welcome home. I soooo miss Colorado. I was born there and lived there off and on until I was married. Always have wanted to go back permanently.

The baby pictures and baby bird pictures are terrific... can't wait to see more photos.

Glad you're home safely.

And the three women in the back of the van DEFINITELY look like trouble. Just sayin'.

The occupants of the third row in the van were perfectly behaved and totally innocent of any mischief. Love the photo of Evan and his Aunt Eileen!

Well those are some great pictures! I have four sisters so we would be causing trouble in several seats...add the brother in and the car is usually rockin' while it's rolling!

What fun!

My Sister Eileen - wasn't that a movie? Probably some chick flick about three sisters in the backseat causing a ruckus...

The scenery looks so serene! How did HOB feel about his vanmaster title? Maybe more like "Driving a Bunch of Miss Daisies"? :)

Laughing because I know that three adults in a back seat of a van is just as bad as three children. Hum maybe worse!

What? Post vacation mindset?

I've been back from Alaska for half a month, plus, and I still can't get going!

Beautiful pix, I love Colorado! I bet the wedding was gorgeous.

I could just picture you and your sisters poking & slapping each other in that back seat playing that license plate game!

Aren't siblings fun?

Hi Betty, so great to catch up with you again. Looks and sounds like you've had a lot of fun. And how cute are those images of the birdie chicks in the decorative nest from your last post!?! What a treat to find them there :-) I'm guessing they're real, yes?

Cool pix. Betty, you have a very nice looking brood there, I hope you're not bossing them around too much (during vacation anyway...) Looking forward to some more Colorado nature shots, very refreshing (although, again, I'm still trying to shake the Dairy Queen trauma, that one is really sticking with me!)

You are having a good time and it shows in your face in the pics and in your words you write here. I look forward to seeing more pictures. I have been trying to learn my little camera and have started taking pictures again. I was taking some pics a few years ago and they really were awful and I got discouraged. But I am trying again.
