Monday Morning Flowers!

Good Monday Morning, Betty People!

The week sits ahead like a chocolate bar waiting to be enjoyed.

Here's hoping yours is more than semi-sweet and filled with just enough nuts to make it interesting.

Many asked what the third picture in my last post was. Those are Bott's dots--the raised dots usually found on freeways to mark lanes. These particular dots were in the driveway to a housing development. Looks like they had plenty of dots to work with!

Remember, if you ever need a helping hand, you'll find one at the end of your arm ... As you grow older you will discover that you have two hands. One for helping yourself, the other for helping others.

--Audrey Hepburn

Hope you all have great weeks!

The flowers are just gorgeous. A shot of color is just what I need on this gray, cold March day. :)

I love Hepburn's quotation, not one I'd heard before; let's hope this can be discovered before one gets too old to really do anything about it.

Love your gorgeous flowers~

Today, your quotation is the best flower of the bunch. Happy Monday.

Lovely blooms to get this busy week started. I have been out for 4 days, acting ambitious to get my list done. That is what i had thought for those dots.

I so wish things here were blooming, instead of being in that awkward almost-ready-to bloom stage :)

Loved the quote.

Betty,
I love your flowers; we need them today; it's chilly here in NC and NOT what I want or need right now...I love warm...
I missed Saturday's post but boy is that neat and of course I had to look at the third photo! how cool is that...remember those dots stuck to paper that we ate as a kid? it reminded me of that!
:) Have a great week...I am off to get a bump on my tongue removed; gross, huh?

I love what you said about the week waiting to be opened and enjoyed like a brand new chocolate bar.

One of my girlfriend's lost her 18 year old son, suddenly last week. He was thrown from the back of a pick up truck.

One of my other virtual girlfriends discovered her aggressive breast cancer seems to have migrated to her liver. Another virtual friend is having a bilateral mastectomy today.

There is so much pain in this world, that sometimes, I forget to look for the joy, and the things to be savored, like the lovely flowers you've shown me.

:hugs: to you, Betty!

Audrey's quote sounds like something a mother would say. I'll have to file that away to use on my daughter!

Hope your Monday was lovely!

Hepburn's quotation was a nice
addition to the mix

Hope your week is all
sweet chocolate with just a
smattering of nuts to keep you
on your toes.

The blue in those blue flowers is just stunning. Actually, when we bought the house we're living in now...back in 1989...the kitchen countertops were almost that same color. Believe it or not, my husband didn't like them and complained about their gaudiness until we finally had them replaced a few years later.

I loved the blue flowers. I also just really like your yellow background on your blog. I feel happy when I read what you have posted on it. The background color alone really brightens my day. The beautiful flowers against the background made it all just wonderful.
