Monday Morning Flowers!

Happy Monday Morning!

Hope these blooms bring a smile to your face!

In the spring I have counted one hundred and thirty-six different kinds of weather inside of four and twenty hours.

--Mark Twain

This is certainly true here! How's the weather where you live?

Weather here is cold, wet, thankful that it's not snow but they are calling for snow showers come Wednesday :o(
I'm so ready for these beautiful flowers to bloom here.

I love the ones in the middle -- are they gardenia's, I can't remember. It's been so long since I've had them.

Weather here is cold in the morning, warm in the afternoon. Pneumonia catching weather.

Great way to start the week! The daffodils are blooming here.

Did you get your essays graded?

25 degrees this morning. My mind has been filled with images of spring flowers, but I see no signs yet in the garden! As you say, GOODBYE, FEBRUARY!! I'm ready for tulips to push thru the ground!

In the meantime, I'm enjoying my BB flowers this morning! Thank you!

Lovely. It's -30C with fresh pussycat tracks in the snow.

Gorgeous flowers. The weather here is cold still and then we get a teaser and then cold again. By cold I should say cold by southern standards.

Lovely blooms, spring is near. I followed a few flocks of Eastern bluebird, a sure sign it is close.A lot should happen in the next 13 days, we have snow forecast in 2 days.

I'm home sick, so I haven't been out. I think it's in the 40s. I can see out my window that it's overcast. Perfect quote!

Lovely flowers. Makes me look forward to the live ones soon.

If that first flower is what I think it is, then I love those!! And of course, gotta have the gerbs. :)
Mark Twain was a smart ol' chap, wasn't he? :)

Oh, Betty, I cannot WAIT for spring. These flowers lit up my heart.

Lovely bright colours, just what we need.
Today a mysterious object appeared in
the sky and has stayed moving slowly in a westerly direction. Many many people have come outdoors to wonder at it, in awe of it's power and beauty.

The only downside is the fact that now I can see in startling detail how badly we cleaned the windows last week.

Thank you for the lovely flowers...gives me hope that maybe just maybe spring is on it's way....except it snowed again. It's been a long time since we had snow in March.

Lovely flowers and I'm looking forward to growing Petunias. It's still quite cool today, calling for heat. Partly cloudy.

I always enjoy the flowers you post. It's still so dang rainy and cold here. Once anything dares to bloom I'm grabbing the camera and going crazy!

Beautiful flowers!

We have had rain, which is getting rid of the snow, but the melting and rain are causing major issues in neighboring towns.

Who needs a "happy light" when they can simply come here and bask?

Mr. Twain had it right. Warm and wet this morning, blustery and freezing tonight.

Hilary said...

They sure did.. and it sure beats the snow outside my window.

I hear you! We are expecting 6 inches of snow by Wednesday! GROAN!!

Jennifer said...

Beautiful flowers! Mother Nature teased us with a week or so of spring and then jerked it away yesterday with more cold and dreary weather! I am SO ready for spring!

McGillicutty said...

I love that first one, I had one last year and successfully killed it.. it was gorgeous while it lasted!!! :)

Cheeseboy said...

Geez. It snowed 4 inches here today.

Your Monday flowers are always a joy, Betty. :-) The weather has been a real mixed bag here lately. I'm hoping that means spring is on it's way.

Mr. Twain got it right here! So did you--those flowers induced huge smiles. Thank you!

Wonderful blooms. The rains are frequent , strong with thunderstorms. After the downpour, it's cool. Nevertheless, the sun still shines:)

Weather here is cold, sometimes rainy, but most of the snow is gone. I don't hate winter, but I'm ready to be done with it for the year.

These gorgeous blooms only make me more so. I used to buy flowers just to have them around. Haven't in a while. Maybe I'll splurge today.

The chickadees are out and about. That is always a harbinger for me.
