Why I Didn't Get the Laundry Done Yesterday

Now how could I have disturbed her?

She stayed there all day.

Good Kitty.

Good Kitty.

Oh that is so cute!! I have done that a time or 2 myself. Plus our cat used to sleep on my legs at night and if I had to get up, I would contort my body not to disturb him :-)

What would really make this comment outstanding is if I were to include a "shot". of my laundry room- may Kitty come visit? love it ;)

Laundry can always wait. Beautiful cat you have there, Betty.

As I'm always looking for excuses to not do the laundry maybe I need to get a cat then?

You have her trained well! :D

Beautiful cat. Pets enrich our lives with so much love. Of course you couldn't disturb her. Look how cozy she looks.

Have a nice weekend, Betty! Happy Valentine's Day!

I definitely need one of those. Perhaps the shih tzu can be taught.

Can I borrow her for week? My dogs won't lay on the clothes, bad dogs, bad dogs. :)

Is that clean or dirty laundry? See...my little dogs jump into my pile of clean laundry while it's fresh and warm out of the dryer. I never get anything folded.

Nothing like a sweet excuse like this to put off something for another day. :)

Oh! You see now, I need a kitty! THat is just a great reason not to do laundry. But, my son is so allergic. . .Drats!!! Maybe just one kitty won't hurt to much.

Mmmmm ~ I should get his prescriptions filled :)

Well at least he did it on the dirty laundry! I don't like when they lay on the warm, fresh-out-of-the-dryer clean stuff.

Very clever. Did you hide a little catnip in the laundry?

Dillypoo said...

Funny, but I had the same excuse for not making the bed!

Brilliant!

Loved it!

laundry tip #47:

If you put that basket at the top of the stairs, they tend to get out by the bottom.

Like the old saying, "never disturb a sleeping cat" or something like that

Looking at you with those innocent eyes, couldn't possibly disturb her.

Extra treats for kitty? She certainly deserves them.

I would pick up the battered grocery sack from the dining room, but my cat lies on it, keeping us company when we're in the room.

Aww...that's a great reason!

this is also my excuse at times for not getting any writing done. there are those mornings where Kittay will climb onto my lap and then onto the keyboard. And she will stay there as long as I stay there, in front of her.

My cat loves the linen closet where she can crawl among the sheets and towels and snuggle in. I've accidently locked her in a few times.

Catering to your cat, huh?

all good kitties know that momma's need a day off from things like laundry sometimes. You have a very smart cat. She also appears to be quite comfortable carrying out her duties

MOL Mom has a rule in our house....let sleeping kitties stay where ever they are. She is a stickler for making up the bed but sometimes on Saturdays...laundry day...she will postpone linen changing because I'm so comfy...Dad says she would never do that for him.

I doubt I would have disturbed
'little ' kitty....
maybe you could train her to
start the laundry for you.......

I guess kitty wanted you to have a break :)

That and clothes are always nice to nap in!

Look at that sweet face, how could anyone disturb her.

That is completely understandable!

She's beautiful! I want a cat but so far hubby is holding firm on his "no!" I don't entirely blame him since we have 2 dogs and our last cat was "demon possessed!"

Why, of course your couldn't disturb that precious ball of fur!!!

Heeehehehe!!!

God bless and have a most beautiful weekend sweetie!!!

Sounds like a perfectly legitimate excuse to me!

I didn't do laundry today, but I do not have the cat excuse.

I would never disturb a pussycat.

A well-trained little feline. One of mine is my excuse not to vacuum. He's terrified of that monster..

Our pipes froze and busted earlier this week, they just got fixed and my husband was so happy for me that I could get to the dishes and the laundry.

yay, me.
