I love it that you are a person who sees the beauty, wherever it is presented. I'm so glad you are back with your wunnerful way of looking at everything.
I'm thrilled with the beautiful sunshine today. It has been far to scarce as of late. However the white of the snow is darn near blinding at the moment :o)
I'm trying to see the beauty in our frozen waterfall but it was minus 1 this morning and the dogs are acting like its my fault. thanks for the gentle reminder that spring is right around the corner!
Here in Michigan there is snow everywhere you look and it is still coming down. Won't see flowers till late April. The only time I see flowers is to go to the grocery store or flower shop. Thank yo for sharing.

I've seen much more of the former white than the latter, these days. You present both so beautifully.
Lord, what a contrast! I like them both. With my pale skin white always a good choice for me :)
A beautiful Monday to you as well!

The white we have here is all in the form of snow, but I like your flowers much better. They are lovely, Betty. :)
Beautiful, beautiful pictures Betty. Well done, as always. I hope the funeral went well!!
I much prefer the second type of white. Thanks for the Monday boost.
Those are so lucious. I am infinitely jealous. And can't spell lucious.
Luscious? There.
gorgeous. something for you at my place...http://leclaw.blogspot.com/2011/01/dani-bestowed-this-baby-upon-me-thanks.html#links
My eyes were getting droopy and I knew it was because I didn't have my cup of Betty this Monday morning.
Lovely contrast in your large land.
Lovely!! Thank you so much for my snow filled vista and snow coloured pretty flowers!! Beautiful!
Take care

Those white beauties are so delicate and pure. :)
HI BB I thought of you and your family this weekend....
What a beautiful post...a few of the many shades of white.
Hugs from Madi and C

Pittsburgh looks like the first pictures. It will be a while before I see anymore than snapshots of the other too.
Enjoy! It must be refreshing to get back to the warmth.
I absolutely adore this series, I think I have told you this before but it's so unbelievably true! Your words are wonderful!
I'm so ready for a real whiff of fresh flowers!
I'm having trouble finding the beauty in my yellow-tinged white snow (since the dog can't find a patch of grass because there IS NONE!)
Lovely flowers, though! :)
Here's to finding beauty in the bleakest of times. I hope your trip to Kansas gave you and your beloved some measure of comfort.
Really wonderful Betty, it's so good to see such beauty.
Yvonne.
i was thinking about you this weekend. i do hope it was a wonderful celebration of his life.
beautiful photos as always.... have a wonderful week BB. =)
I'm already tired of the top white one!

I like the California white better. The Kansas white looks too much like the Pennsylvania stuff
Your post gave me peace, today. :)
It's beginning to look a lot like...Kansas. Sigh. Still, that is such a peaceful shot. And I love the flower--gorgeous, hopeful. Thank you.
I always love stopping by and seeing your photos!
Yes, there is beauty in everything - but I gotta tell you some days it's hard to find when your teeth are chattering!

White is good in either form. It's the frozen brown mud that gets me down. Is that a gardenia???
So jealous...on so many levels!
Nice quote and pics. Stay beautiful, Betty.

What a great thought for the day. :)
From one extreme to the other. Wow!
I have to say, I like the white flower better than the white in Kansas. I'm so over the snow.
Thinking of you and your family. God bless.
The latter white I prefer, Thank You,
Yes we must find beauty in our surroundings because as you pointed out, the beauty is there we just have to see it.
Thank you for the flowers, BB! I left something for you on my blog today.
I saw white peach/cherry/plum blossoms today. Spring must be near!
Love the snowy landscape...
the flowers are stunning.
