Monday Morning Flowers!

Hello, My People!

Another week dawns upon us and we face it with enthusiasm, hope, and optimism.

Right?

Today's flowers come to you with a wish that amid your hectic week, you have a chance to slow down and savor the small moments that come your way.

Those small moments of solitude, of wonder, of happy chaos that make up our days are the building blocks of our lives.

Here's Fiona, my friend's cat, taking one of those moments.

Hope you stop to do the same today.

Happy Monday!

Good morning flowers--and Miss Betty!
It's so nice to come here and stop and sniff the flowers, per se. :)

What a wonderful quote and oh so true!! We all need to pause each day to enjoy aroma of roses, coffee or something wonderful baking in the oven..maybe Chocolate Chip Cookies for Bossy Betty,
A very beautiful kitty too.

Fiona's smart; stay inside where it's warm.

Oh wait - it probably IS warm by you.

What? A cat? How'd he get in there. I suppose he is somebody's Monday Morning Flower.

I miss chirping birds, too. 7 degrees here today, with windchill of 14 below.

Very well done, I was running on slow today, and I guess I hadn't had my Betty yet.

I'm loving the white rose. Reminds me of a song by Kate Bush that's haunting but lovely.

Your flowers are beautiful as always. Much better than the snow that I have here. So much snow that I am enjoying a snow day home today!

Such a great message Betty! I also try to remind myself that things that seem like big deals are just a small piece of the big picture (you know the stuff I let stress me out) also. Thanks for reminding me to live in the moment. :)

I like that thought. I always say that when folks giggle at me for getting excited about things like cool bugs or my frogs in the pond. I say if you wait for the big stuff, you'll be waiting forever. :) Good thoughts today, pally!

Those are great shots. The kitty is my favorite.
