Weekend Update: Monday Morning Assorted Foliage

Happy Monday!

Did you do a little dance when you arose from your bed this morning?

Are you ready to go out and conquer the world?

I had a wonderful weekend!

Yesterday I went with some gal pals to the Santa Barbara Botanical Gardens.

The weather was wonderful for our trip.
We had a picnic in a nearby park first.

Here's the view from the entrance of the Gardens.

Lovely Water Lily.

We visited this web, but the architect was out and about.

I didn't care where these stairs led to--I just knew I had to walk up them!

Trees, trees, everywhere!

Here's the view from one of the hills surrounding the Gardens.
That's the ocean and the Channel Islands in the distance.

Hope you had a wonderful weekend and are ready for the week ahead!

Everybody needs beauty as well as bread, places to play in and pray in, where nature may heal and give strength to body and soul.

Great photos of what looks to be a wonderful day!
I, for one, am glad that the architect was out and about. I don't do spiders....

Assorted foliage?!?! Somehow I'm feeling jipped this gloomy Monday morning...

I DID do a little dance! How did you know? We woke up to big snowflakes this morning. The weather channel currently says we have a 30% chance of light snow today. Um, if this is "light" snow, I would like to know how they define "moderate" and "heavy." Hope you have a wonderful week, BB!

As always, beautiful pictures with such inspiring words, BB! I love me some Botanical Gardens! The stairs look kind of dangerous, I'm certain I would've gotten injured in some way if I would've tried going up them. Glad you had a good weekend! Have a great Monday!

Some great shots found, and a lovely day I am sure. I jumped up to my car windows frosted over and went to give blood and get a flu shot at the doc. Real fun. Headed out to swap some cars a friend has for a new one.
