Sunday at the Sea

Hello, my darlings!

Betty is back from the trip up to Santa Cruz for Thanksgiving.

We had a wonderful time with the college kids!

Just before we left we stopped at the Seymour Center at Long Marine Lab where we saw these lovelies.

O.K. Maybe "lovely" is not the word you would use to describe this guy.

However, I think the term would apply to this one.

Maybe not this either....

How about this one?

Lovely IS a word I would use to describe our time with Sonny Boy and his girlfriend, but it's also great to be home again.

Sorry I have not been around to visit your blogs, but I am devoting today to some Sunday visiting!

Wear something pretty and have the pie ready.

I've missed you!

I'm glad your trip went well.

Betty, what is THAT first picture. Is it a fish? I hate to say it but it looks like poop.

I have a nice slice of apple waiting for you.

Those were some interesting creatures that you photographed. The glow on the jelly fish is kind of amazing.

Gosh Betty, would you prefer pecan or pumpkin when you visit?

I loved your photos and gosh, while lovely is NOT the word I would use to describe some of those, perhaps they are lovely inside; who are we to judge?

...enjoy your day!

Glad you had a fun turkey time in Cruz. You and HOB are pretty cool parents in my book. And yes, beauty is not how I'd describe the first one. It took me 5 minutes to find its eyes.

Oh, and we're out of pie, and I may be sitting here in my jammies when you arrive, but you're welcome to come anyway. :-)

I'm glad you had a lovely time with the kids. Sounds perfect.

Now, I have to tell you how deathly afraid I am of fish. I literally screamed out loud at number 1 and 3. Good lord, are they ugly!

Wonderful images of awfully strange but beautiful creatures. I'll have the pie ready, but really.. must I dress up? Aren't we good enough friends for casual dress? ;)
