I very rarely use appearance chemicals. Not that I don't need them I just don't bother with them. It's always fun to go on one of your shopping trips though

(Sorry that I have not been around much lately, but I have not been too well).

BB only you would think to call them appearance chemicals...that is too funny. The older Mom gets the more of those it takes to keep her 'machine' running.
Happy Saturday and Labor Day weekend,

Do proprietors express concern while you stand their and take pictures of their wares? (A spy from a competitor? A news reporter digging up dirt on what I sell?)

Whatever -- just keep it up. You are delightful.

Those specimens in the second photo look ghastly, like butchered meat in a bucket. I had to do a close up to see that they were make-up testers. So I suppose meat in a bucket wasn't really that far off was it? The things we put on our face, yuck! - G

Oh boy, I remember the days when I wouldn't DARE venture out without "appearance chemicals" on my face......these days, who cares? Must be a sign that I'm either getting old and crinkly and don't care anymore - or I'm too lazy to bother with making up.

It is very nice that you keep your Eagle clean!!!

Oh appearance chemicals, how I love thee. I only wear them during civilian hours though. I don't owe a painted up glamourpuss to any of those a-holes at work.

Venassa said...

I bought some appearance chemicals myself today.

tire and wheel cleaner. I'll take some of that, now if I could just find someone to use it on my truck...

Girl, do you have some followers! I had to scroll like for ten minutes on this old laptop.

Appearance chemicals. Makes it sound kinda gross that way!!

I've been converting my "ACs" to organic as often as possible.
They're tough on the budget, tho'.
Blessings,
Patti

God bless ya and have a magnificent Labor Day weekend!!!

I love these. Ever notice all the repetition that it going on everywhere? Yes, I need those chemicals too.

Pat said...

Those appearance chemicals are getting so danged expensive, aren't they?

Especially the wax for my wheels! Ha!

Michelle Faith said...

Clever girl, I just wonder what people are thinking about you bending over the lipsticks with your camera.

Ca88andra said...

Just did this sort of shopping a few days ago! Very clever.

I don't really get along with appearance chemicals. Or should I say I look like a clown when I use them? I stick to some Burt's Bees tinted gloss stuff.

Lourie said...

Ahh yes chemical appearances! A must have...except lately I haven't been wearing any as it would just melt off.

Hmm, will a quick facial splash of Eagle One make me more or less presentable? I'll keep you posted.

I wonder if all of those face chemicals could seep through our skin and hurt us? hmmmm

I love the comparison of the two groups of chemicals!

I wonder if that tire shine would work on my tired face? I might hop over and get some.
Happy holiday.

My next life I want to be one of those women that do not need appearance chemicals. That's all I ask. They are expensive, take time to apply and I just don't like them. However to be kind to others, I do need to use them. After all one does not want to scare people if it is not Halloween.
