excellent summer! :-) I'm afraid mine was quite dull and boring in comparison.

Wow, Betty, you always take such great photos. You had a wonderful summer, and I'm sorry you have to go back to work.
I hope working doesn't interfere with your blogging activities...

I was smiling as I read this post for every picture I said,
"Oh I remember when Betty went there"
"Oh yeah, look at that."
"Oh yeah, she met the cop there."

Great vacation Betty, thanks for sharing.

I'm tired just looking at all that stuff you've done. Is it time for lunch yet? I have a pork chop sandwich with Blob O' Mayonnaise on it. Wanna share?

I am envious of your summer travels. A life well lived, that's the way Betty does things. I'm especially jealous of all your hiking!

I hope your school year is stellar and I wish you more incredible vacations in the summers to come.

I think I may have to stay with you next summer! I can't believe it's over. I think I need to reflect on what I actually did.

Boy, you teachers sure know how to pack in a summer full of stuff. No wonder you can manage all those kids in the fall, winter and spring.

I did not know you were a teacher. Fail for me.

I love the picture of Arches though. I miss it.

You make me so envious! No fair... still turning to page one. :( :( :(

p.s. that star made my day!

Hmmm, apparently I need to become a teacher so that I can have fun during my summer - because I didn't do anything that fun this summer! Of course, my aversion to many children in one room at the same time just *might* be a problem....

From the looks of your pictures, I'd say you had a lovely summer, Betty. I hope the school year gets off to a good start for you. Have a nice weekend! :)

As the Irish would say "it's a great life so it is you have there Mrs Betty." I will get my revenge, assuming I can take a decent photo while I hike next month :-)

BECKY said...

Wow, Betty! Can you say "hike"? I'd never be able to keep up with you! Looks like you had a great summer, and I hope you have a wonderful school year!
PS You're making me soooo hungry with the mac and cheese photo! I'm on "kind of" a diet and as I sit and type at 11:35pm, my stomach is growling like crazy! :)

Looks like you did a LOT of fun things, traveled to many places, and took great pictures! Now write it all down in a 500 word essay!

Hard to believe that school is back in session!

What a wonderful summer trip you had. It is great to hear stories about successful trips and yours is very inspiring. You went all the way and you have a magnificent itinerary. The scenic pictures are so inviting… too bad summer is almost over.
