Monday Morning Flowers! The Back-to-School Edition

Good Monday Morning, My People!

Today's delivery includes flowers that go from Mild to Wild.

Is that indicative of the week ahead for you?

I want to wish HOB a Happy 29th Wedding Anniversary.
Glad we took the leap all those years ago!

Blogging Buddies: I will be returning to work today and have decided to make blogs mandatory in two of my upper level classes. This means I shall be launching 60...yes, you read that right, 60 new bloggers into the blogosphere and trying to keep track of all of them! Wish me luck and please understand if I don't get by your blogs as often as I normally do.

The whole purpose of education is to turn mirrors into windows.

Awesome idea about the blog requirement. Consider posting a list of them and I am sure your followers will check them out (or at least I will).

We have 10 days left of summer vacation. I am torn between letting them live it up or reeling them in so the school year can begin on a note of civility. (I am thinking finding my sanity begs me to do some reeling.)

Lovely flowers, as always.

You are the hippest professor I know!

I feel like, petunias aside, these are some "tropical-ish" flowers today. Wishing you were on an island somewhere?

Happy Anniversary!

Whoa!!! Bet, you're AWESOME!

I want a teacher as "cool" as you!!! I am jealous of those kids!

If my blog was mandatory I think I'd hate it. I'm just opposed to authority like that.

Happy Anniversary! And I LOVE the idea of teaching them how to blog...you will have to put their blog addresses up on the web for us to see them and comment to them...and if any of the students love photography, send them over to my blog, heck, they can even enter my free monthly photo contest..that would be great!

You teachers crowding the field with blogs! Are you going to check for spelling and grammar on 60 blogs? Aack!

I love the last two photos. On Saturday, I went to The Planting Fields Arboretum on Long Island. Those flowers remind me of the place.
