Monday Morning Flowers!

Happy Monday!

This is the last week in July 2010, so let's make it a good one.

Glad you stopped by for your Monday Morning Flowers.

The Rose Parade continues around these parts, with many different colors and styles still coming out to delight and surprise!

Quote of the Week:

Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow.

- Melody Beattie

I am grateful for all of you!

Have a happy week!

Betty, the roses are beautiful. My mother always loved roses, so they make me think of her.

I really like the quote you shared. I think if people had an attitude of gratitude, the world would be a happier place.

I really like your quote today. I try to model gratitude for my daughter because what we have IS enough. More than enough.

Also I can't believe July 2010 is almost over.

Morning BB,
And we are grateful for your excellent eye for what makes a beautiful picture!!! What a nice quote to start off the week,

All of us in Raleigh will be glad when July says bye bye. It has been the hottest month we remember in a long time. We broke a record yesterday 102 real temperature.

And thanks for that inspiring quote.

"..each of us has cause to think with deep gratitude of those who have lighted the flame within us.
And definitely you are one of them, Betty."
I don't claim the praise of this quote but I just wanted to dedicate it to you.

Yep. We should take time and stop to smell the roses and be thankful for what we have. Those photos are gorgeous! If only I had a scratch and sniff monitor!

Lovely photos. The "rose parade" reminded me of how floats in parades used to be made with actual flowers. I remember the first time I saw a parade on TV as a kid and my Mom telling me that all the floats were covered in real flowers. I was so jealous of the people that go to stand on the floats and wave.
I also wanted to go to Hawaii as a kid because I wanted to get off the plane and have someone give me a lei. Do they still do that?- G

I need to tell Craig that he needs to step up. I get fresh flowers weekly from you, and it's been a LONG time since I got any from him!

Your blooms are truly lovely, but you scared me by reminding me it's the last week of the month!

I just found you! I am going to hang around for a little while like the shy girl who's too afraid to make friends because she fears someone will actually see her, and then, omg, she will have to say hi, and then, omg, what if...I'll stop. Sorry. But I'M LOVIN' THIS. Easy reads - so "my train of thought-like". See ya again soon!
