Monday Morning Flowers With Fishy Bonus Too!

Good Day Darling Ones!

Betty has returned from her trip up north and fetched some flowers for you.

These were all flowers in Sonny Boy's front yard.
Aren't they lovely?

We had a great time on our trip and enjoyed our time with our oldest son who is thriving in his college years.

We drove back home to our youngest son who had capably handled all the responsibilities of the house while we were gone.
We were so happy to see him and catch up on what he had been doing.

What beautiful bookends of a great trip!
Betty is grateful for this wonderful life.

Thanks so much for visiting even though things have been a little crazy and I have not gotten around to my favorite blogs.
Flowers just don't seem to be enough this morning.

Here's a bonus koi for you.
Hope you enjoy your new pet.
(He looks hungry. I think you'd better feed him.)

Hope you all have great weeks ahead!

Beautiful this morning. Just what I needed. Did you know koi make noise when they're hungry. I saw a video on them sometime last week and they make this very strange noise by popping out of the water. Interesting fish.

I will enjoy the Koi from afar (I was bitten by a giant one I was feeding once) so my fingers go no where near their water now.

I like how they always stick their head out of the water when they think you are going to feed them.
Happy Monday!

I love koi! We had a fish pond when I was growing up and we tried to keep koi, but the raccoons just get getting them. So instead of spending $30 to buy each new fish, we went to the pet store and bought one of those catch-all-you-can feeder goldfish bags for 5 bucks. They did remarkably well in the pond and they even reproduced a few years later. They were big enough to see from the edge of the pond, but too fast and small for the raccoons to bother eating them. Then the herons came along and ate all the goldfish. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted. Thanks for the lovely flower photos! - G

Oh boy, flowers and a fish! I feel special! Thank you for sharing pieces of your trip, since I've been stuck inside all weekend!

The flowers are beautiful. And the fish is actually cute. LOL. He needs food and a name.

Your son has some pretty flowers growing in his front yard. How sweet of him to let you bring them to us. And the koi is just going over the top. What exactly does a hungry koi eat?
After returning from a trip to an unsupervised teenager I would be more happy to see that the house was still standing...lol

Thank you, dearest Betty! I am taking them all!

Fishy bonus, however, cannot come. I won't share my food. Oh no.

Lovely flowers. As a gardener with a knack for letting things shrivel and brown, I am duly impressed!

Great camera work. I always get them blurry even though it's a dummy camera. Wait, maybe that's the problem.

eye on the little darling.. perhaps
sizing it up for a quick snack.
