Monday Morning Flowers!!!

Hello Betty People!

Happy Monday!

Hope your week ahead is a great one.

Thank you all for the kind Mother's Day wishes!

One more thought before Mother's Day fades into the distance:

God sent children for another purpose than merely to keep up the race--to enlarge our hearts; and to make us unselfish and full of kindly sympathies and affections; to give our souls higher aims; to call out all our faculties to extended enterprises and exertion; and to bring around our fireplaces bright faces, happy smiles and loving, tender hearts.

This is so pretty -- and the hummingbirds in the previous post just amazing. Did you make the video? Girl, I don't know how you have time to go to work. (Of course, it probably takes less of your time than those cats will ;>) Your blog is just beautiful.

Beautiful sentiment and photos!

PS. I had to show my son your whole series on hummingbirds yesterday. He's going into wildlife endangerment and that kind of thing is incredibly interesting to him. He has a huge soft spot for animals anyhow!

Flowers always make me happy (except carnations, because they're weeds masquerading as flowers) and I hope you had a lovely Mother's Day!
