Your Monday Morning Flowers

This week, your flowers come to you straight from our backyard.

This is one of the six azalea bushes that I look at as I stand at the kitchen sink. They seem to have just burst forth in the past week or so.

So, I send these to you on this Monday morning, hoping you burst forward into the week, full of brilliance, brightening the world with your own color and beauty.

Just don't give up trying to do what you really want to do.
When there is love and inspiration, I don't think you can go far wrong.

--Ella Fitzgerald

Hope you have a great week!

What a spectacular view! Thank you for sharing. I used to have a gorgeous view of the mountains from my kitchen sink. Maybe a permanent view of them will be required in my next home??? Have a fabulous week, BB!

Beautiful flowers! I wish I had your kitchen view. Other than a sink full of dishwater all I can see is a block wall. Have a super week!

Betty...I am feeling likea soul sister of yours. You have put up my favorite flowers. We love azaleas and have recently planted about 15 more. In fact, we spent the weekend transplanting two of our favorites into new pots!!! Love the pics...thanks

beautiful azaleas! ours are hot pink, I like the shade of yours. And love the Ella quote, perfect!

beautiful pictures - I love azaleas but they don't love the climate where we live so only one of the six bushes we originally planted has survived.

So thank you for the ray of sunshine on a Monday! You take such lovely photos - what sort of camera do you have?

GORGEOUS!! I'm starting to feel a tad bit of jealousy as I am reading everyone's "springy" posts and look out at our "barren" 12 acres. Come on sun!! Please visit me too!

Anyway, I'm still thankful you shared them with us. Even if it is through a screen!

Oh My Goodness! Those are gorgeous! I want a dress in exactly the color of those. The darker pink with accents in the lighter pink and green would be perfect!

I'm jealous. They're so pretty. I tried to grow several azalea bushes under my back window a few years ago, and I could never get them to do anything but look half dead. I don't think they do so well in clay. I ended up pulling them up and replacing them with lantana because it's one of the few things I can grow in the clay without screwing it up.

Azaleas. They don't grow here in the desert. I miss them. One of our friends sent us an azalea bonsai tree with almost the same blooms as yours!

Lovely post!

Thank you!
